Spin up game servers without paying for idle months

VelocityDrop is a Discord bot that provisions dedicated game servers when you need them, not when you do not. Buy tokens, spin up a world when your crew is online, and skip the always-on monthly bill. Built for players and teams; built to scale with shared backend capacity.

Built for “let’s play tonight”

VelocityDrop connects Discord to your game stack: request a server, burn a token, play. When you are done, resources go back to the pool. Simple for players; operable for the team running the infrastructure.

Tokens, not subscriptions

Pay for capacity when you use it. No guilt for a server sitting empty all month.

Growing library

Dedicated servers per supported title: containerized, portable, and ready to add more games over time.

Discord-native

Slash commands, clear status, and a flow that feels like part of your server.

Shared power, smart allocation

Admins pool hardware; users get fair slots. Scale out when the community grows.

Supported games

VelocityDrop is built to support many dedicated-server titles. We ship integrations as they are ready. Start here, with more on the way soon.

Available

Valheim

More games coming soon

We are prioritizing stable, fair hosting per title. Want a specific game? Follow along as we expand the catalog.

About VelocityDrop

We are building a product layer for on-demand game hosting: Discord as the control plane, containers for game worlds, and a token economy so users only pay when they actually spin something up.

Who it is for

Friend groups, small communities, and creators who want a dedicated server for sessions, not a 24/7 bill. Admins who are comfortable managing pooled resources and token grants.

What is real today

The Discord bot, API, resource pool, and game-server provisioning path are in active development in the open. This site is the public face; the demo below is illustrative only. No backend calls from your browser.

Roadmap

More games, hosted deployment options, and purchase flows for tokens beyond manual admin grants.

Founding story

We kept paying for servers that were only alive on Friday nights. The bill did not care about our calendar. VelocityDrop started as a simple rule: if nobody is playing, nobody should be paying.

Discord is already where squads gather, so it became the natural place to request a world, spend a token, and get a link. Tokens align incentives: users get predictable costs, and operators can share hardware across many groups without pretending every group needs a dedicated machine.

This is placeholder narrative copy you can replace with your real founding story as the product ships.
